Description - Originally opened in 1972, Luton's Arndale Mall was once Europe's largest covered shopping centre. The re-development completed in 2010, incorporated an additional 75,000 sq ft of retail space.

The spectacular 6 storey entrance on to St George Square consists of Kawneer AA110 structural silicone glazed curtain walling, Kingspan panelling, Wrightstyle fire rated glazing and multi coloured Euroclad ACM Rainscreen System.

Malmaison Hotel, Liverpool

Description - Situated at Princess Dock, Malmaison Hotel is only five minutes from Liverpool's iconic buildings. The Manhattan styled waterfront building was originally opened in 2006 but after the fanfare, it became apparent that all was not well with the external façade.

Red were employed in 2009 to carry out the necessary repairs. This involved the systematic removal of the cladding and glazing to all 6 storeys, the necessary remedials were made and the works reinstated. With good planning, co-operation and communication, all this was carried out in a little over 12 months whilst the hotel remained open.

Description - Paradise Street is an integral part of the Liverpool One Scheme which involved the re-development of over 42 acres of under utilised land in Liverpool city centre. With a total investment of £1 Billion, the scheme was completed in 2008 in time for Liverpool Year of Culture.

Red installed multiple products including Schuco FW60+ curtain walling, timber zinc and trapezoidal profiled cladding. The building is completed with a brise soleil system.

Westfield, Stratford

Description - Westfield opened its doors on 13th September 2011 to almost 1.9M sq ft of retail space making it one of Europe's largest shopping centres. Adjacent to the London Olympic Park and Stratford International Station, the shopping centre is part of the extensive multi-purpose development called Stratford City.

Red's work spanned over many buildings using a variety of products from stone cladding to over 20,000m2 of Paroc Panels and Tecu Brass Shingles.

Crowne Plaza, Manchester

Description - Crowne Plaza is the latest 4 star hotel situated in Manchester's fashionable Northern Quarter with 228 rooms, this striking building is now the must place to stay. Red's work included several Rainscreen Systems from the Parklex Timber to the lower area as well as Alucobond and the Carea Ardal System giving the building its slate like effect.

Sainsbury's, Urmston Town Centre, Greater Manchester

Description - Phase one of Eden Square is complete offering the public new shops restaurants, a library, 64 new homes and a conservative club with stewards apartment. The new shopping anchored by Sainsbury's will boost the towns facilities and offers great choice.

The projects has Luxalon Quadroclad Rainscreen Cladding using aluminium honeycomb core panels for flatness, complete with Schuco FW60+ capped curtain walling. Also, Schuco AWS65 pivot tilt turn Windows plus tilt and slide door to the apartment and areas of Kingspan MR and RW 100 composite panelling. Renson brise soleil and continuous extruded aluminium feature channels and Protan membrane roofing.
